CORE VALUE

Data Sharing

Project members share data generated for the project in a way that is consistent with IRB regulations. These files will be accompanied by detailed and descriptive metadata and will be in a format that is transferable across programs. Data summaries (including descriptive stats, figures, and other visualizations) will be provided as requested.

Core Value 2 Working Principles:

  1. We will share data in csv files, shapefiles, or rasters.

  2. We will provide Clearly outlined metadata with each data set to be shared.

  3. We will post data in our shared drive.

  4. We will distinguish between data to be shared publicly and data with identifying information to be shared among team members.
