CORE VALUE

Broader Impacts

We will develop a conflict-sensitive approach to fieldwork and collaboration by building a deep understanding about the political context and how our project relates to it and by investing in partner relationships.

Core Value 4 Working Principles:

  1. We will work with partners involved in rural extension to reach farmers and enhance their trust (EMATER, IDARON, Prefeitura).

  2. We will deliver the results to farmers and partners.

  3. We will attend at least one EMATER conference on pasture.

  4. We will not insist that questions are answered if there is resistance.

  5. We will work with strategic people, who have good relationships with the community to lead others during fieldwork.

  6. We will honor all commitments made.

  7. We will be clear and communicate well about the objectives of the research.
